Sylvia Hoggle

Sylvia Suther Hoggle, age 68, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Claudia Suther; sister, Ruby Sager and brother, Mike Gregg.Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Danny Hoggle; daughter, Tammy (Robbie) Rose; grandson, Robert (Jessica) Rose, who she called "Boo Bear" and he was very dear to her heart and cherished more than life itself; great-grandchildren, Ann Miller Howe and Avery Harper Rose, and a loving mother-in law, Jewel Hoggle.Sylvia leaves behind many, many precious friends. Many knew and loved her because of her "big" heart and smile, her tender compassion for others and her ability to go above and beyond to lift others up. She had a gift for making others smile and she will be missed by many.Sylvia and her precious friend, Connie, had a ministry of visiting the sick, the nursing home and giving to the animal shelter. She also had a compassionate heart and loved serving the Lord and it showed through her service at Summerfield Baptist Church.Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. James Bozeman officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friend prior to the service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.Pallbearers will be Robert Rose, Robbie Rose, Ray Hoggle, Harry Pugh, Harold Moseley, Austin Moore and Blake Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Dannie Jones, Leon Smith, George Henry, David McVay, Bryan Jones and Wayne Labbe.
