THELMA DENNARD HARRIS

THELMA DENNARD HARRIS, age 92, died on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Cedar Hill Assisted Living Specialty Care Facility. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by her husband, Thomas G. Harris, Sr.; her parents, Randolph Peyton Dennard and Myrtle Dennard Sanderson; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Harris Golson (Charles) of Valley Grande; her sons Thomas G. Harris, Jr. (Carol) of Hartselle; and Randolph D. Harris of Birmingham. Also surviving are 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters and 3 great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery, conducted by Mr. Tom McLemore. Visitation will be at the gravesite immediately before the service.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one's favorite charity.

Mrs. Harris's family extends special thanks to the staff at Cedar Hill and to her sitters for the kindness and compassion with which they cared for her.
