Thelma Potts Russell, age 86, of Selma, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Harris Russell; parents: Andrew and Myrtice Potts sister: Katie Rae Greene.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her 4 Children; Harris Mitchum Russell (Dawn), Marcus Dwain Russell ( Marilyn), Tina Russell Harrell (Jimmy), Tara Russell Baker (Tommy), 6 grandchildren; Jennifer Russell, Kory Russell, Aaron Russell, Kasey Robinson Reasor, Lauren Baker Jones, Mandy Baker and 4 great-grandchildren; ; and brothers, Greely Potts and Earl Potts of Eufaula, Al.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Gardner officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Kory Russell, Jason Reasor, Preston Jones, Bill Potts, Dallas "Tuff" Reasor, and Phillip Free. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Schroeder, Whet Wilkinson, and Bobby Quarles.
The family would like to thank her long time caregiver, Pam Caver, her dedicated neighbors Ken and Betty Schroder and Crowne Nursing Home.
