Thurman Harvell

Thurman Harvell was born November 25, 1933 to the late Council and Becky Wilkerson Harvell. He passed from this life on January 16, 2015 at the age of 81.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Harvell; brother, James Harvell and sister, Jewell Dempsey and brother: Perry Harvell of Uniontown.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Jean Harvell; daughter, Peggy Sanders (Danny) Dadeville; grandchildren, Donald Horton, Jason Horton and Tiffany Harvell; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and countless nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Summerlin officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night, January 18, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Palmer, Richard Stokes, Paul Stokes, Amis Snodgrass, Don Harvell, Ralph Roberts, Jack Ledbetter and Kenneth Dempsey.
