Thuvia Stapp

Thuvia Catherine Stapp, age 86, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009. Her husband of forty nine years, Colby Edgar Stapp, Jr.; parents, Gilson Vanderveer and Anne Burke Willets and grandson, Colby Ryan Stapp preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Mark Steven Stapp; daughters, Kathleen (George) Needham, Barbara Hiouas; grandchildren, Kevin (Mandy) Ondrey, Katie Ondrey, Christine Atchinson, Erin (Damian) Ludwig, Kyle Stapp, Tyler Stapp, Sahra Hiouas and Joshua Hiouas; great grandchildren, Nicole Webster, Dakota Webster, Emma Grace Atchison, Andre Hiouas and Jackson Stapp. Also surviving her are her special friends, Ann and Ray Thomas. Visitation will be Friday, November, 27, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. The grandsons of Mrs. Stapp will be serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Stapp was a volunteer with Cahaba Hospice and Little Friends School.
