Tracye Holland Howe passed away June 24, 2024. She was born February 25, 1966 to the late Robert Leon "Bobby" Holland and Dorothye Ross Holland Jackson. She was a remarkable soul whose presence brought light and laughter to all those around her.
In her lifetime, Tracye cultivated a deep love for the arts. Her passion for crafty pursuits such as painting, glass art, and seashell art shone through in every piece she created. Her creative spirit knew no bounds, and she found solace and joy in the act of bringing beauty to life through her artworks. One of Tracye's fondest memories was her visits to Maine, where she would spend time with her husband, Andy's family. Nestled in cabins on Howard Pond, she found tranquility in the natural surroundings and cherished moments spent with loved ones in that serene setting. Andy was her once-in-a-lifetime love, and is now at rest - they have been reunited.
Known for her stubborn yet endearing nature, Tracye had a special gift for spreading laughter wherever she went. Her humor was infectious, brightening even the dullest of days for those fortunate enough to know her. Behind that strong-willed persona lay a heart overflowing with love and warmth for those closest to her. Above all else, Tracye treasured her grandchildren beyond measure. Nothing brought her more joy than sharing her love of art with them and embarking on adventures together. Her legacy lives on not only in the beautiful artworks she created but also in the precious memories she crafted with her beloved grandchildren.
Tracye Holland Howe leaves behind a legacy of creativity, love, and unwavering strength.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Andy" Howe; brothers, Larry Holland and Steve Holland and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Lambert and Ronnie Lipham.
She is survived by her daughters, Abbi Howe and DJ Howe (KC Moreland); step-daughter, LeeAnn (Kirk) Zaner; grandchildren, Ann Miller Howe, Hendrix Paul Howe, Colt Macoy "Mac" Moreland; sisters, Bobbye Jean Smitherman, Terry Lambert and Becky Lipham; a host of nieces and nephews.
