Troy Stokes, Jr.

Troy O. Stokes, Jr., age 53, of Selma, AL, passed away February 17, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Stokes. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Stokes; son, Alex Stokes; daughters, Raegen Stokes, Amber Stokes and Savannah Stokes; father, Troy (Judy) Stokes; mother-in-law, Connie Willbank; step-brothers, Charles Mills and Joseph Mills; step-sister, Jennifer Mills and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Horton officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak with Selma Funeral home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m, at Elkdale Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Mike Yarbrough, Tony Powers, Paul Combs, Brad Smith, Joseph Mills, Brian Gallion, Jon Strickland and Harry Tubbs. Honorary pallbearers will be the Dallas County Sheriff's Department. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Southern Care Hospice.
