Velma Weaver

Velma Chandler Weaver, age 96, of Jones, Alabama, passed away Wednesday April 25, 2012 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.P Weaver, daughter, Mattie Knapp and 5 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughter, Ruby Nell Colee, son, William E. Weaver (Frankie), brothers, Henry Chandler and William Chandler, sister, Clara Willis, 8 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren and 37 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at Alpine Baptist Cemetery with Rev. William Short officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends from 5pm - 7pm on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Weaver, Jeremy Roach, Matthew Colee, Philip Colee, Trey Haistens and Mickey Lewis.
