Vension "Jay" Baker, age 77, passed away Saturday May 17, 2008.
His granddaughter Marion Elizibeth "Beth" Gault precedes Mr. Baker in Death.
Surviving Mr. Baker is his wife Tevya Baker; sons, James W. Montgomery and Bill McIver; daughter, Judy (Brian) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Brandt (Nancy) Kuperstock and Ted Robinson; sister, Geraldine (Lee) Murr; grandchildren, Bobby Lynn Johnson and Brian Eugene Johnson, Jr.; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Elizibeth Reedy; niece, Melba (Sam) Odean; nephew, Rex Allen Murr and a host of other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester and Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
At the request of the family, casual attire will be appropriate.
