Vernon Harris

Vernon Calvin Harris, age 68, of Orrville, AL, passed away September 13, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Vernon and Willie Harris Cooper and a brother, Howard Harris. Surviving are his wife, Viva Harris; sons, Mike (Cindy) Harris, Randy (Joanna) Harris and Jeff Harris; daughter, Susan (Bobby) Autrey; sisters, Barbara (Henry) Levert and Rose Bradford; seven grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Levert and Donald Harris officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mason Harris, Jessie Harris, Keith Bradford, David Bradford, Perry Davis, Joe Suddeth and Chris Nichols. The family would like to thank Dr. Park Chittom, Asera Hospice of Demopolis and Montgomery Cancer Center of Selma.
