Vinson Bannister

Vinson "Mike" Melton Bannister age 64 of Selma, passed away on Friday November 22, 2019 at his home. He was born in Marshall County, Alabama on August 14, 1955 to the late John L. Bannister and the late Eloise Standley Bannister.
He was a former heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Bannister; sisters, Wanda Bass and Judy Boles; brother-in-law, Mark Schiafone; and sisters-in-law, Tina Brewer, Robbie Greene, and Pam Bannister.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Eloise Bannister; brother, Jimmy Bannister; and nephew, Jason Dennis.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron Ellis and Jerry Bender officiating.
Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Schiafone, Mike Green, Steve Brewer, Aaron Ellis, Jason Johnson, and Daniel Dennis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be John Bass, Ben Hatch, and Justin Green.
