Virgene Hatch

Virgene Lucille Hatch, age 89, of Selma, AL, passed away September 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton C. "Bud" Hatch and brother, Leonard Moody Moore. She is survived by her sons, Bruce "B.W." (Linda) Hatch and Ronald S. (Janet) Hatch; grandchildren, Missy (Rick) Barrett, Patrick (Renee') Hatch, Ben (Leann) Hatch and Christina Hatch; great-grandchildren, Taran Barrett, Sean Barrett, Stephanie Brewer, Lyndzy (Sam) Averette, Danielle Brewer, Joshua Barrett, Andrew Barrett, Tony Hatch, Zackery Hatch, Amber Hatch and Kyrie Hatch; great-great-grandchildren, Adrianna Brewer, McCayla Brewer, Carlee Brewer, Isabella Brewer, Gavin Averette and Caylee Lobo; nieces, Cheryl Hatten, Ann Moore and Kay Lentz and nephew, Terry Moore. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Anderson and Rev. Bill Best officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tony Hatch, Zackery Hatch, Ben Hatch, Sam Averette, Rick Barrett and Marvin Duncan. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Joy Sunday School Class at Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale St., Selma, AL, 36701.
