A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Tom McLemore. Visitation will precede the service from 1-2:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date in Molett's Bend.
She was preceded in death by her son, John D. Molett, III; her first husband, Douglas H. Molett, Sr. and her second husband, Ernest Holt Hamlett, Jr.
She is survived by one sister, Betsy (Jimmy) Mallory; two sons, Douglas (Bonnie) Molett, II and James (Rebecca) Molett, Sr.; five step-children, E. Holt Hamlett, III, Rosa Hamlett (Steve) Davis, Florence Hamlett (Bob) Young, Ellen Hamlett (Johnny) Harris and Vivian Hamlett (Leroy) McEntire; as well as 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
There will also be a memorial service at The Berean Bible Church at 10:30 a.m., May 31, 2009, with Jerry Sanders officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701.
