Virginia Ruiz

Virginia Ilean Barlow Ruiz, age 68, of Jones, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded by her parents: Albert and Clara Lee Sheffield Barlow; brother: Joseph Barlow; and step- mother: Mary Pearl Barlow.

Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her daughter: Donna Ilean Wilson (Eddie); grandson: Robert Logan Nichols, Kenneth Wayne Cooper; step children: Alberto Ruiz, Sandra Ruiz; brother: Michael R. Barlow; sister: Juanita Barlow Lister; aunt: Mamie Barlow Tucker (other mother); special friend: Pam Harrell; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Virginia spent the last few years of her life battling cancer and witnessing for the Lord. She will be truly missed by friends and family.

Pallbearers will be: William Charles Pharr II, Michael Creech, James B. Tucker III, Billy McCormick, Eddie Cooper, and Michael Barlow.
