Viva Poe

Viva L. Poe, age 78, of Selma, AL, passed away November 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Poe; parents, Vernon and Dollie Mae Hunter; daughter, Gwendolyn Jones; brother, Vernon Hunter and sister, Sandra J. Royster. Surviving are her children, Stanley Barnette, Alan (Wanda) Barnette and Janet (Ricky) Allday; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Ok 73123-1718.
