Vivian "Louise" McAfee Pickering age 93 of Plantersville, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Green Springs Assisted Living in Prattville. She was born in Lawley, Alabama on February 2, 1927 to the late Ben McAfee and Lela Henderson McAfee.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Anita (Grantt) Harris, Doug (Kathy) Pickering, and Les Pickering; 14 Grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lela McAfee; husband, James Pickering; and daughter, Vivian Wilcox.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Plantersville Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Plantersville Christian Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
