W.E. Morris age 81 of Selma, passed away on Friday November 20, 2020 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. He was born in Perry County, Alabama on May 8, 1939 to the late Herman Morris and the late Lacy Edwards.
He was a former painter for Bush Hog.
He is survived by his children; Teresa (Henry) Swindle, Tammy (Greg) Parr, Darrell (Jennifer) Morris, and Michael Morris; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Clarine Coleman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Mitchell Morris; parents, Herman and Lacy Morris; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
