Wittington Thomas Smith passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Nell Smith; brothers, Coburn Smith and Robert Smith and sister, Ellie McCormick. He is survived by his sons, Steve (Carol) Smith and Phil (Cheryl) Smith; grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Rebecca (Jared) Pendleton, Lydia Smith and Jacob Smith. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Fancher and Rev. James Bozeman officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens, Visitation will be prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Jones, Jimmy McCullough, Chip McCullough, Gary Bennett, Mickey Ware, Mike Morrison and Gary Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Broadhead, Sid Harris, Jr., and The Men's # 2 Sunday school class at Summerfield Baptist Church.
