Wallace Lambert

Wallace M. Lambert passed away June 30, 2022 at the age of 89. He was born November 16, 1932 to the late William Oscar Lambert and Ora Mae Lambert.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. "Jackie" Lambert; granddaughter, Lindsey Hawkins and he was the last of his siblings.

He is survived by his children, Pam (Kevin) Hawkins, Lynn L. Stokes and Wallace Scott (Pam) Lambert; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Lambert was a retired SMSgt in the U.S. Air Force, served as President of Craig Credit Union, was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of the Selma Masonic Lodge. He loved Alabama Football and was once an avid golfer.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Clay Lambert, Cole Lambert, Stuart Lambert, Justin Jacobs, Kevin Hawkins and Aaron Sewell.
