Walter "Butch" M. Huffman of Valley Grande, Alabama passed away on Sunday April 28, 2024 at Baptist Hospital East in Montgomery at the age of 82.

He was born in Alabama on June 20, 1941 to the late Frank and Elsie Turner Huffman.

He was retired millwright with International Paper.

Butch is survived by his children, Sharon Huffman Parnell and Michael Huffman (Meg); grandchildren, Kayla Huffman, Aleana Huffman, Jordan Parnell, Jacob Parnell (Kayleigh Grace), and Beck Huffman; great-grandchildren, Owen Parnell and Anna Scott Parnell; sister, Faye Holcomb; and faithful companion of 31 years. Reba Drinkard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Jack Huffman, Charles "Skeeter" Huffman, Herman "Sparky" Huffman, and Ruth "Sis" Huffman.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. in the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home.
