Walter Green

Walter Oliver Green, Sr. passed away April 15, 2017 at the age of 73. He was born May 4, 1943 to the late Lester Pettus and Myrtle Lee Bridges Green.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, W.C. Green, Evelyn (Emile) Hotard, Nannie Mae (Calvin) Johnston, Faye (James) Sealy, Daisy Lou (Elie) Naquain; brothers-in-law, Jimmie Allen, Jack Foman and Ivy Bourg and his mother and father.
He is survived by his children, J.W. Green, Angela Green, Brenda Underwood and Walter O. “Skeeter” Green, Jr.; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Mollie M. Allen, Richard (Virginia) Green, Emma Foman and Jeanette “Nett” Bourg; sisters-in-law, Fannie Mae Green and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. James Bozeman officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Allen, Donald Tyus, John Green, Billy Green, Randy Foman, Robert Green and Tommy Williams.
