Wilbur James Simmons, III, age 78, of Selma, died Sunday October 17, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Fay Simmons He is survived by his sister-in-law, Doris M. Adams of Prattville, two nieces, Cynthia Elizabeth Simmons and Jacqueline Simmons Burton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverends David B. Thomas and Matt Adams officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Monday October 18, 2010.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to ones favorite charity or Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street Selma, AL 36701.
