William Cole

William Henry "Bill" Cole, age 82, of Selma, AL, passed away February 24, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Emma Cole; parents, Henry Kelsey and Eunice Cole; brothers, Cleveland Cole, Franklin Cole, Kelsey Cole and Noah Cole and sisters, Elizabeth Smitherman. Surviving are his step-daughter, Jean (Jim) Rhoden; sister, Betty Edwards and two step-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Ray Teel officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Cleveland Cole, Ronnie Smitherman, Henry Smitherman, Steve Cole, Mike Edwards and Andy Davidson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Park Place Nursing Home, 100 Park Place, Selma, AL 36701.
