William Harold Spivey, Jr. age 74 of Selma, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at home with his family by his side.
He was born in Selma, Alabama to the late William H. Spivey, Sr. and Janie Parrish Spivey Dickens.
He was a self made machinist. Harold wore many different hats throughout the years. He loved to hunt in his younger days. Fishing was something he loved to do as well as long as he could "call" them up using his secret telephoning method. He had a love for drag racing as he would build enignies for many different people who would set world speed records with the engines he built. Among his many talents, he also had a pilot's license and loved to fly planes. He had a knack for training dogs and was very good at it. His family will always remember him for his jokes, his constant clowning around, and his ability to make others laugh. "June Bug" as he was affectionately known, had a genuine love for his family and friends, and they loved him just as much.
