William E.J.(Jack) Turner, age 88, passed away Friday April 30, 2010 after a brief illness. He was a decorated Navy Veteran during WWII and a teacher of air conditioning and refrigeration at the Selma branch of Wallace Community College for 20 years before retiring to his passion of farming in Orrville, Alabama.
A Chapel Service will be held at Lawrence Funeral Home on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service and burial following at Orrville City Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Arther Hartley with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his loving wife Johnnie, and her children, Floyd G. Soule of Mt. Joy, Penn., Richard W. Soule of Orrville, Al., and Gary A. Soule of Nashville, Tenn.
