Willodean Lovelady Newsome age 90 of Robertsdale and formerly of Selma, passed away on Monday December 14, 2020 at her home. She was born in Stanton, AL on September 13, 1930 to the late Morgan Lovelady and the late Beulah Nichols Lovelady.
She was a former Unit Secretary at Baptist Hospital in Selma.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Styron; daughter-in-law, Rita Hopkins; grandchildren, Ronnie (Holly) Lipham, Charles Rollett, and Veronica Friday; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine Lipham, Claire Taylor, Clay Hopkins, Ashlyn Friday, Tucker Friday, and Taylor Rollett.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Beulah Lovelady; husband, William Newsome; son, Ronnie Hopkins; and son-in-law, Mike Styron.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 am at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande.
There will be no vistation.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
