Wilma Louise Burcham

Wilma Louise McNeely Burcham, 85, passed away on February 23, 2024 at home after a brief illness. She was born in Cairo, Illinois on May 4, 1938 to the late Thomas McNeely and Eva Mae McNeely.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Sanders, Mike McNeely, and Patrick McNeely; son, Robert Edwin Burcham and grandson, Donald, Raymond Lester, Jr.

She is survived by her four children, Steven Burcham, Susan Chavers (Dennis Smith), Cindy Burcham (Seth Hackett) and Sammy Burcham; grandchildren, Wendy (Bryan) Pickering, James (Crystal) Lester, Shana (Kevin) Gibbs and Kelsey (Shane) Gaut; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren and her service dog of fourteen years, Harley.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Pastor Oscar Mims officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
