Youlanda Quigley

Youlanda Newsome Quigley passed away January 1, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born December 18, 1944 to the late Marie Wallace Newsome and Walter Lee “Red” Newsome.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter “Buddy” Newsome, Jr. and son-in-law, Steve Buxton.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Sharron) Ross, Nancy Buxton, Bernadine Sissy Smith, Harold Ray (Shy) Quigley and Christopher (Whitney) Ross; grandchildren, April Carter, Joshua (Tori) Smith, Jeremy (Casey) Smith, Crystal (Perry) Converse, Whittney Ross, Drew Ross, Eric Quigley, Nicholas Quigley, Kayden Quigley and Alex Quigley; great-grandchildren, Skyler Ross, Christopher “CJ” Ross, Jr., Addeyson Ross, Jason Melton, Jr., Kyndal Smith, Ansley Smith, Easton Manning, Jaycee Smith, Sawyer Grace Smith, Keaton Smith, Jayda Converse, Aubry Converse, Lorelai Converse, Leighton Converse, Haisten Ross, River Ross and Kayleigh Hunter ; brother, Bill Newsome, sister, Charlotte Cook and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ross, Ray Quigley, Mike Ross, CJ Ross and Skyler Ross.
