Zack Thomas "Tom" Eiland, born December 7, 1929, went to be with his Lord October 4, 2013 following a brief illness.
Tom was preceded in death by father: Enoch H. Eiland; mother: Mollie Belle M. Eiland; sister: Marie Eiland Bell; brother: Enoch H. Eiland. Jr.; and nephew: John H. Bell, III.
Surviving family members include his wife: Julia "Judy" Macken Eiland; niece: Shelah B. Fondren (Charles); Glenda P. Bell, widow of John H. Bell III; and grand nephew: Michael Bell.
Tom was an active member of Westwood Baptist Church, Life time member of the Selma chapter of the Masons. He attended Starks Military School and graduated from Marion Military Academy.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery in Montgomery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
